Madame Lauro

A lone fighter in the resistance, Madame Lauro poured hydrochloric acid and nitric acid on German food supplies in freight cars on the French railroads. Hundreds of the railroad workers were shot after they were caught, but Madame Lauro continued her acts of sabotage, working alone and at night. She was never captured.
